It's anyone's guess. Maybe. Maybe not. Time will tell.

Verizon hasn't lost as many customers as you claim. They add more customers than AT&T does.
If you really want the iPhone, then you need to go to AT&T and get service with them. AT&T was the only carrier that was willing to meet Apples' demands. Verizon didn't want to meet their demands. So that's why they went to AT&T. Besides, AT&T has the U.S. exclusive rights to the iPhone 'til 2012, when it might be available to other carriers. By then, Verizon should have LTE up in select markets.

The first 2 links didnt have concrete info. Third one was okay, but im still not sold.

Everything I have ever read has used words like "allegedly"...and many reports have verizon picking up the iphone as soon as 2009. Im sure there is an exclusivity agreement, but 5 years is ridiculous for both parties.

I guess the future will tell us what the real situation is.

Opinion: I hope not!

Something to ponder: Reportedly Apple approached Verizon about carrying the Iphone before approaching AT&T. However, Apple's terms were not to Verizon's liking. So if Verizon turned down an Iphone exclusive before then why would they change their minds now? Especially if it means accepting the same terms which they initially turned down. I hope Verizon never carries the Iphone and AT&T never carries a touchscreen Blackberry. Just my take.
