I agree, however the trouble with demanding proof, is how to prove the proof is real? What if he said "my brother is head of marketing for VZW and he told ne the date" or " my rep dropped a confidential document and I got a peek at the date"

Hard proof would cause me to be looking for employment elsewhere. As my handle indicates, I work FOR the company, and I would prefer to keep it that.
November blackout periods (meaning, the time period every holiday season when an employee CANNOT request time off) is being moved forward from November 16th to November 9th SPECIFICALLY FOR THE STORM LAUNCH. Promotional Storm items have been ordered and are scheduled to be delivered to the store levels before that weekend.
That is pretty much all I can say without giving away too much.
