new service dissapointment???
Hello all, this is my first time back to this site in a while, and I was wondering if anyone out there had any words of wisdom for me at this point. I've been a content Sprint customer for the last 5 years. I have been using the Sanyo scp 8400 for the last 2, and it's on it's last leg. It has been a great phone, has proved durable, reliable and I've rarely found myself without coverage. Sprint has tremendously improved their customer service in recent years so I've really had nothing to complain about. I however have been looking to upgrade my phone for the last few months. It seems as though your main gripe is with the locked down interface & their price? Verizon isn't the cheapest, and they lock their interface on most phones (sans PDA/Blackberries).
Verizon prides itself on network technology, so it's really up to you to see if the call quality and reliability improves with Verizon, and whether or not that outweighs the cons.

You WILL be getting less with Verizon. But hey you will be able to make calls in Montana....but be careful you won't get all services in all places...even if you can make a call.
DO some research....a Verizon fan-boy thread is not going to be exactly unbiased.
