And are you certain that the version that's downloaded to the phone is DRM-free? I really don't think that it is, as documentation only specifies that the copy downloaded on the PC is DRM-free.

And I realize that you mentioned something about the modified player, but what I was looking for was whether or not current phones would support the DRM that's implmented for use with the Rhapsody to Go functionality, so your posts weren't *quite* what I was looking for. I wonder if discounts apply to Rhapsody as far as the month subscription cost goes...

For the 14.99 a month you get access to unlimited "music to go", meaning anything in their library you can put on your phone(up to 3 devices). You however, cannot burn these songs unless you purchase them for 99 cents. You aren't actually purchasing the music, you are more or less renting it. Once the service is canceled, anything purchased is kept but the rest you will lose access to.
Great service, but you do not own the music under that 14.99 subscription.
