Full HTML Phones and Family plan

I'm in a pretty basic family plan and was wondering if it is possible to get one of these new phones with HTML and upgrade only my number with web capabilities. Or do I have to change the whole family plan over to something new for it to work. Sorry for my ignorance on this one. I had tried the verizon site but couldn't find anything about it. Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure what the plan is call but it's like 700 minutes for 69.99 + 10.00 each for additional lines.

I haven't tried the LG Dare, but VZW is stating it's full HTML, but I still haven't found a true HTML CDMA phone.

As far as plans, that's not in my dept., but I'm sure one of the VZW phonescooper's will be able to assist.

You can add the V-Cast V-Pack to any line of service for $15.00/month.

As far as the browser goes, some phones do have full HTML. When most people think of HTML they are thinking of IE or any other browser on your PC.

It'll switch to wap automatically.

Full HTML browsers are pointless now since most sites utilizes flash or java. VZW phones that have full HTML browsers will not support flash or java.

If you're on Americas Choice you will have to change to Nationwide. All lines will have to change but it's the exact same price per month.

"exact same price per month"

Not true. Well... not exactly. While the monthly fee remains the same it is often more costly to the customer as the Nationwide plans bill for data usage where the Americas Choice Plans did not.

chauncy... here's what I mean and what someone else within VZW may or may not clearly explain to you. You will pay $1.99 per mb of data that is transferred across the network. This number is tallied through the month (just like minutes) and rounded up at the end. 1mb = $2. 1.1mb = $4. On the Americas Choice plans you used your minutes (or unlim N&W) when downloading games, ringtones, applications, etc. Now you pay data. Many files are very small and by no means does this mean an extra $50 on your bill, but do not be...

Thank you to everyone that chimed in. I got my Dare the other day and ended having to switch to the Nationwide premium plan witch gives me everythign I need. (navigator stuff is frickin awesome!!) With my %20 intel discount, and some other bundle pack discount, we've got a screaming deal.

gsmflash88 - thanks for the heads up about the MB charge vs minute charge. Totally makes sense. I'll have to inform the others on the account.

This site is pretty awesome when there's no bashing going on. We're all here for the same reason. Let's all help each other out.

Thanks again for the help everyone.
