fyi, Verizon started a main steam policy recently that used to be special occasion only. If any line is on a $50 or more per month access for that line, you can do a 2 year renewal on that line and get any phone at the sales price. There can not have been a Contract renewal/phone upgrade in the last 12 months, and you have to be on that price point for the last 3 months. So if your a 9.99 share line, oh well, but you can also use another lines upgrade thats on the account.
Can anyone please help me out with this? I am really wanting the dare and wanting to ditch my pearl. How would I go about doing this? Do I have to call CS?

As of now it is only available online so you will have to go to those channels (customer service). If you qualify for the annual upgrade you will get the 2 year price.

to make it more simple if you haven't received a phone discount in the last 12 months and are on a plan $49.99 or higher and wiling to sign a new 2 year aggreement from that date, you are eligible to receive the 2year contract price on a new phone with a $20 Annual Upgrade charge. this can be done at most locations, just go in and have then look up your account use the term annual upgrade and they should know what you are talking about.
