America's Choice or Nationwide plan?

I currently have the America's Choice plan and I am thinking about changing the amount of minutes in my plan but that would require me to go to the Nationwide plan. I understand the main difference is in the mobile web access but which plan is better? Thank you in advance

Ok so here is my two cents on this issue bc you are going to get everyone talkin down the nationwide plans who don't understand billing. Nationwide plans in my eyes are way better. The nice thing about them is u can use ur data products in extended areas where AC plans you can't. You get free mobile web when its 5 bucks on AC. Yes its a 1.99 per mb but get over it everyone else bills the same if not higher. Other than that they are the same. And if u are a heavy gin user or mobile web user just get the vpak and then guess what the plans are identical and nothing changed except more coverage for data.

America's Choice plans are also very inefficient, due to the fact that data calls - like voice calls - are always rounded up to the nearest minutes. In other words, you could use three or four minutes within a single minute.

Also, keep in mind that - if you go over your minutes - those data calls are costing you whatever your overage rate is. On a 450-minute plan, that's $.45 per minute. It very well could take you five or six "minutes" for you to navigate to a ringtone that you want, costing you $2.25 or $2.70, rather than a $1.99. Plus, you could probably do a lot more within that $1.99, whereas the overage in minutes is gonna continue at $.45 a pop.

I've seen people who were able to decrease their calling plans as a result of MB-bas...

They use 1 min of airtime when sending/recieving data. The messages connect to the data network.

Hence, all of those 777-000-0001 calls that everyone calls in about. 🤣

The main difference is how you are BILLED for mobile web. Nationwide gives you the ability to text/pix message off network...AC bills you per minute for whatever. There's no big difference....in the big picture. HOWEVER, if you don't have vcast, you must watch how much you do with Get It Now and mobile web.

lets not forget on americas choice plans, you do use minutes for data, such as get it now, but most users did a lot of that stuff on night and weekend minutes, which equals free.

And yes, you get to use data on extended network, which is nice. But after the alltel buyout, that will not be a benefit anymore, or not near as big of a benefit.

It boils down to how you use your phone. If you already have vcast, then there is no reason not to be on it, but if you do the little bit of get now here and there, and dont get carried away with picture messages, then I would stay on americas choice, as you can do it free on off peak minutes. Most heavy users already have vcast anyway.

I disagree about most heavy TXT/PIX/FLIX users already having V Cast Vpak, but I'll admit that it's a decent percentage, nonetheless. I feel that the only people who are legitimately going to hate Nationwide pricing are the ones who get bored and browse for ringtones at night. I suppose that it's none of my business how people use their phones, but c'mon...using your phone to browse ringtones late at night whenever you're bored is just a waste.

Just buy a game or something! I mean, it's disgusting to see people having such high-end devices without exploiting their capabilities. At least do SOMETHING remotely interesting on it at some point. There are so many Voyagers in circulation with everything but calling blocked. Really, what's the p...

The main problem i have with the nationwide plan is that it bills for browsing GET IT NOW like someone said before AC used minutes but not on the nights and weekends and it was only a few minutes. 1 browse a month is $1.99. Plus, They don't offer the $59.99 Family share 500 mintues on the nation wide plan which is what i have!!
