I dunno what crawled up yeahrights shorts tonight...but vzw is getting a variation of the bold. It is rumored to be released in May 2009. The thunder should be out by the end of the year tho.

i am not a huge fan either...but that thing is slick and there are a lot of buttons on it besides touch..send, end, 2 convenieince, menu butto, if blackberry does it right( and i beleive they can) it will may be well worth it.
as far as the bold it is At&t exclusive to At&t at first, so we may not see ours for a long time if at all.

Our version is called the Niagara or the Javelin--I forget which one is CDMA. But without a doubt, verizon will get a variation on the bold in 2009. My guess would be next spring.

ahh, that makes sense, I was confused on that since At&t was claiming the bold as exlusively theirs...so basically they are claiming the name as exlusive...tricky

May 9th of 2009 if not later. Verizon just launched the Curve and having the Bold/Curve sell is sorta competition for itself. AT&T will launch the Bold 1st as usual and Verizon will get it later.
