well...i used to work retention for sprint...recently quit and moved to California, but i decided i was still going to keep sprint bcause i still had friends there and got the SERO plan. Well...the SERO plan was kinda pointless now that the simply everything plans came out, cuz i had a pearl, and was paying $70 anyway (30 for voice, 30 for BB plan, 10 for navigation). Tried the Rumor, cuz i figured all i really wanted was to be able to text with full keyboard, didn't really need a BB for that...well, the rumor sucks. the keys are really cheap and i was typing faster than the phone could keep up. And 3G and no EVDO?? it was awful. so...with the premium plans on VZW, and the fact that i am still well within my 30 days on SERO, i'm going to VZ...

The enV is a rockstar, you'll like the phone regardless if you get the env2 or not.

1- working for sprint, you would have had to have known that the Rumor had no EVDO... so you bought it, and then complained about it not having EVDO... WTF?
2- you also said that all you wanted was to text with a full keyboard so why would you care if it had EVDO or not?
the rumor is an excellent phone by the way. i happen to prefer the rumor keyboard since it's not akward like the EnV and it has a network to back it up. the only con that i know of it is that the camera on it sucks... but again, all you wanted was a full keyboard so who cares about the camera right? and as far as the you texting faster then the phone could keep up with... well ive never seen that problem before and mine works just fine... yours must've just been de...

You're right. i did know it didn't have EVDO. I didn't think this was going to be a problem...but when using the Navigation and i was driving faster than the phone could keep up with, it just wasn't working out for me.
as far as my phone being defective with the too fast typing, i tried 2 others (one in a store, and a friend's) and they had the same problem. I dunno...maybe you type really slow?
Anyway, long story short, the phone was cheap and not what i was looking for. LOL!!!!!! best post EVER! enV or enV2 is your best bet. Nothing wrong with the enV, it's just run the cycle. Now's the best time to get one since they are on sale cheap to flush the inventory.
