I have a feeling the Decoy may be the 9700...althoughhhhh it would make sense to have that as the name for the 8610 seeing as how there's a BT headset on the back...get it? 🙄 not everything is an iphone ripoff. Actually, if you look at the timeline, the iPhone was ripped from the Prada (being a touchscreen device that it was). The iPhone simply added a full browser...the Decoy hasn't been verified for browser. Now then, if the iPhone was a rip from the Prada...and the Decoy IS the Prada...who's ripping who? 🤣 alright then! that one works. But remember...it's not 100% that it is the Decoy (though it's seeming that way). We'll find out probably at CTIA or ina few days. Since AT&T is supposed to launch their TV in May...which means the Vu will probably come out then (and remember the Vu is....that's right the Prada), my bet is Verizon will try and get the 9700 (or Decoy...or Prada...Or Vu 😲 ) before them to get the edge on them or at the same time for a head-to-head showdown. All I know is...there's phones coming down the pike and new things coming shortly to Verizon that are gonna make people either go 😳 or 😢 (and now I'll get off the soapbox)

Anything is possible. There are seperate threads on here for the 9700 and the 8560 with a picture. There are not multiple pictures (so far) of either as they are being held under close watch until release...or CTIA. Kind of like what Verizon did with the Voyager. Tease you a lil with a picture or two to get ya interested and then hold back on any others until close to release.

PTT--doesn't sound like something that I'd be interested in anyway. I find that quite annoying. The "walkie-talkie" type feature. Heard people use them on the train and they are seriously annoying!

Now how to find out if the G zones on line are PTT...gotta go check that out. SOunds like the phone we've been looking for for our employees. They've been known to drop them in a tub of water before! 😲

You combined two threads into one! 😳 PTT isn't really a big seller at this point. Yea, accident prone people would be wise to get a G'Zone. And as for how you find out, it would be listed on the features of the phone on the site.

🤨 Is that all other people complain about is the UI? Is UI really that important? Because all I ever read about people bashing VZW is our phones UI is crippled? Lol it seems people get all saddy because their phone doesnt display a different color then what the manufacturer installed on it? It still does the same stuff as other phones, and gets the job done. Also its simple so what gives? Come up a different argue. The whole UI is lame, almost all customers could care less if their messaging section looks different then what VZW provides when the functions the same.

The UI is not just some color... it's the USER INTERFACE. Considering how often people use a phone, and there are more features than just dialing, UI matters.
Create all kinds of conspiracy theories if you have to, but Apple products like the iPod and iPhone only became huge because of their well designed UI. I say this as somebody that does not own an iPhone, but has played with them and realizes how much Verizon missed out.
