Well, i think what i mean is, the Prada was the first touchscreen phone and created the touchscreen revolution. The Iphone was second.

Huh? There has been many other touchscreen phones before the LG Prada phone. I believe the iPhone created the "touch phase" in the U.S. The Prada phone was released in the U.S. after the iPhone. You could find unlocked Prada phone from abroad that costs more than the iPhone.

I agree. I posted a video link on HOFO of the original prada and it was deleted. They said it was 'irrelevent'. What the heck.....It's going to look almost the same except for the UI. Damnnnnnn it.

Wow, how many non-smartphone touchscreen phones does Verizon need? LG Voyager, Samsung Glyde, and now this? Won't they all just be competing with each other?

Yeah, I'm just saying that having several midrange phones is different than having 3 iPhone competitors. The Voyager/Glyde/Prada is a niche phone, and having 3 of the same one is kinda counter-productive. They are way too similar.

While a bunch of folks like to call the Voyager the iPhone competitor, as a VZW rep, I hate the comparison. The iPhone is cool, the Voyager is ok, I like it, but they really are different. Both touch, similar, but different.

But yeah, everyone wants the touch screens...I don't know why?

I miss the days when everyone wanted silver clamshells...

Yeah, I don't think the Voyager is a good iPhone competitor, the iPhone can't really be imitated well. But The Voyager is designed to be a competitor to the iPhone, so...

I kinda look at the iPhone as the "Starbucks" of phones. It does the same as others, but has the cache to get away with selling for a higher price and it's cool factor helps too.

I hate the i760. Cheap screen, poor keyboard layout, ugly look...

i730 is way better.
