Heard a spot on the radio today for the new Sprint $99 Simply everything taking a shot at Verizon & ATT. It said they were stuck in 1997 if they think the only thing people use their cell phones for is talking. Then went on to list everything you get for $99 with Sprint. Was actually done very well. Got my attention. It did sound like this is a promotion that will run thru the end of May. Didn't know if anyone here knew if the Unlimited plans on VZW are for a limited time or not.

You post had Sprint information in it which is good, but ended up being a verizon question and that simply can't be tolerated here!!!

according to the docs about the unlimited plans, it is a "limited time promotion" so yes they are, but they haven't told us when the promotion expires

I heard from a very reliable source that they dont have an end date but are testing it out and if it sales well they'll keep it as a regular rate plan.

I assume that when a company says "limited time only" it means "we don't know how well this is going to work so we're going to pretend that it's just a special thing in case it goes under"
