No longer working for VZW
Just to let you guys know, I no longer work for VZW.. unfortunatly the information I helped you guys with they said was proprietary info, Such as letting ya'll know the relase dates of the phones 1 week before they came out, (even though they gave us the information to tell our customers if they asked), and also helping you guys by giving you answers to some of your basic questions.
They did tell me however they will review the information again, and see if what I gave out was truly proprietary info. I don't think they looked at the dates of my posts at all to see wether the info i gave had already been publicy released.
Hopefully they will see thier error and re-hire me. but untill then I'm SOL.

I hope they wise up at VZW, all you did was hold peoples interest in them. I feel without the information you gave people on this forum was in the Co best interest so those people did not go elsewhere. I hope things work out for you.

unfortuneatly we are talking about management, and they don't tend care if you saved them 1 million customer's from leaving or not. they tend to look at things black & white (and THEY NEVER MAKE MISTAKES, ☹️ ).

Well if they wanted to they could just track him posting from work (if he was doing that) Suck man. I think if they let you know about info such as release dates then as soon as they let you tell the customers on the phone then its no longer proprietary info. You should be kind of lucky that they wouldnt do anything beside fire you. Nothing drastic like fine's or breach of contract crap. Come to the darkside buddy (AWS)

AT&T Wireless doesn't have a center in Nashville, TN.. Just Stores or Kiosks. And to get into them is usually an internal thing.
Hopefully T-Mobile will give me a call, They are right across the street from were I worked with VZW. And then there is a Cingular Telesales center across town. Other then that I'm SOL for the celluar industry.

they can check the computer he was using, or if they are real paranoid about their employess they could have keyloggers or other software to monitor with.

aws does have a call center in memphis if it came down to it. but hopefully things with get straighten out or you get the job @ tmo or awscingular (hehe).

That Is very unfortunate. Are you a sales person or a tech. Verizon for some reason is making, In my opinion, a uneducated decision. In the sales area they let go of about 12 of their top sales people cause of just simple things.
If you posted at work like I do, Their is a chance that they will say that it was a misuse of company resources. I don't have that problem cause I have watched my management get on my computer check e-mail and do other such activities. So i don't have a problem with that.
Now also I have noticed that lately every internal publication by verizon telling about release dates, coverage areas, or new services have a little sentence at the bottom saying.

No I Was a Welcome Call Rep.
We contacted all the new customers either by calling them or sending them a text message to call us, and we basically just verified the account was setup correctly and stuff like that.
But like I said nothing I gave out on here was proprietary. That gave us the information so that we could inform our customers if they asked... So ya'll asked, and I informed 🙄
They told me they would re-investigate it, so hopefully they will see the stuff I posted was allowed. I mean heck they don't give us access to or tell us ANYTHING about release dates for phones or services until 1 week prior to release. and at that time is when they allow us to inform customers.
