im on a share plan right now,my part ends in a couple of weeks, whenever it is up, im gonna get a new plan by myself, will i be able to get my phone at a discounted price and keep my number?

Yes. You will have to do an AOL (Assumption of Liability) to have the account moved in to your name. You can pick what plan you'd like to be on and you'll keep your same number. Your upgrade date will be the same. If you're already eligible to upgrade then you'll still be able to and you'll get upgrade pricing.

ok thanks, but what if your not 18 yet? can i still do the assumption of liability?

Nope, you'll have to be 18. You'll also have to have some credit built up. If you don't have any credit yet then they will want a deposit to get it in to your name.

If you're under 18, you can't get a separate account in your name via AOL or otherwise. If you're wanting to get a single plan, keep your number, upgrade, and get a separate bill, then you may want the account holder to see about putting your line on a second account level (can be done via customer service or maybe a store). That way you have the above, but the account is not in your name. Try to do it on the start of the new billing cycle though or your plan will prorate and you may risk overage. Once you're 18, you can always assume liability for that line. Hope the info helps.
