Premium SMS Block Coming Soon
This will block all premium sms only. Alll the other messaging will still work.
I personally believe most premium SMS companies are evil and should be shut down for preying on the Young kids with phones and the stupid people.
I am glad VZW is finally getting an option for customers to block them.
Side note, when the feature is added it will terminate all "opt out" premium SMS programs. There will be no credits or pro-rating for premium sms already billed the month you add it.
this should be FREE just like the federal and state do not call lists.
not only should the "premium" SMS block be free, it should be the default state.
the only way you should ever receive "premium" SMS is if you opt-in in specifically and after being fully briefed in a non-BS non-marketroid manner by someone who does not stand to make money out of the deal.

The 'premium' SMS carrier sent me a text, that sort of indicated that I had to go to a website to accept the 9.99/month charges, but started sending their junk. (I never accepted nor went to their website)
I contacted an online VZW CS Supervisor who told me to reply "STOP", which, after doing such, the 'premium SMS carrier' "WAS ALLOWED TO ILLEGALLY AND FRADULENTLY USE VERIZON'S BILLING SYSTEM TO BILL ME FOR SOMETHING I HADN'T ORDERED." My emphasis as to some of the legal words I had to utilize. They billed me for the 9.99 about ...
