Should I stay with Sprint or switch to Verizon?
I've been with SprintPCS for about 3 years. I've been reasonably satisfied with them, except for the 3-4 "dead spots" that drop my calls (I live in Houston, TX). I've never had any serious billing issues and call quality is fine.
However, my cell phone (Samsung A460) is falling apart, I don't have equipment replacement and I'd have to wait till March to get the free phone upgrade.
Three days ago, I initiated a new plan with Verizon because:
1. Almost everyone I know has Verizon, so I can take advantage of the free in-network calls.
2. People tell me that Verizon call quality is good in my area.
3. Verizon has better phones than Sprint, and I can get one for cheap if I'm a new customer.

If i were you i would stick with what you got...Try out Verizon and if you like it then go with it but if your only reason you want to switch is beacuse your phone is falling apart then i would cancel the 15 day trial with verizon and stay with the better phones that sprint have..BTW since sprint has merged with Nextel it will only be a matter of time till the call quality and service is better then anywhere else...Dont jump aboard a sinking ship with no life preservers...stay with what you got because as of now Verizon has nothing to offer its customers...The discounted phones are only with a 2 year agreement and if you dont have insurance on the phone you will be spending more then 300 dollars for a new phone if something happens to it...P...

Go with who has the best coverage. I just switched to Verizon and have nothing bad to say. I can make calls in so many more places now than I could with T-Mobile.

I would like to say some things bout VZW. OYu have ot understand that we have a few things going for us that 1) we have the most cell towers available 2) we have the fewest drop calls out of all the carriers 3) our WORRY - FREE garuntee's. I do wanna say there are times when you are going to run into some issues, there is noone perfect. I do wanna say i have had all the services excpet for T-mobile and Virgil Mobile and Verizon is by far the best
