Quick Ringtone Solution
1. Go to VZW.com and preview ringtones or play any song from anywhere.
2. on the phone: Get It Now-> Get Tunes & Tones-> My Sounds-> Record New. Play the music while simultaneously pressing the record button.
3. Send-> to your phone number. It will be recived as an SMS message.
4. Click save as ringtone.
5. forward SMS to friends.

nope. if it comes via mms they can't charge for it. at&t doesn't, verizon doesn't, t-mobile doesn't and sprint doesn't ...

i don't know why verizon is like that. they don't let use what's on your own memory card. i have the env and the lg phones that at&t sells let you use whatever the crap you want. since verizon has unlimited message packages it seems pointless to nickle and dime customers by making them send via mms. oh well.

have you tried any file transfer? i have a treo 750, sony ericsson w580, samsung 727 and a list of 20+ phones that i've used with my kensington bluetooth adapter and i'm pretty well versed on bluetooth and other than contacts, i can't get anything pushed to the phon...

Yes. I can transfer any type of media using the OBEX with a PC, and any type of media using the Send Bluetooth command, except for ringtones.
You can transfer a 5MB video clip in about a minute or two.
