Coverage Question
I live in a rural city/town in SE KY (zip code 40965). I currently have AT&T and Verizon, but I can only use Verizon analog coverage in KY. Sprint is the only other carrier with digital coverage here (Verizon does not allow roaming on the Sprint towers here-unusual but true). Verizon has purchased Ramcell in SE KY and will only say that digital coverage will be available by May 2008. 1 Verizon rep told me that Verizon actually has 1 tower here, but will not turn it on until a second tower is activated/constructed. I vastly prefer Verizon's customer service and network but want to be on 1 carrier soon. Can anyone help me to determine when Verizon will actually have digital phone coverage here?

i'd say just hack the prl on your phone...its a bit complicated but it would allow you to roam on sprint's towers. i dont know the specifics but howardforums would be a good place to start, most people on there seem to have a lot of technical knowledge...sorry i didn't answer your question, but there is always an alternative
