VZW - Simply The Best

It doesn't get any better than VZW... They are, Simply the Best..

If you like dropped calls.. Pressing send, and no connection.. No ring on incoming calls.. Stick with Verizon.. They remind me of that commercial where someone is talking, and talking, and talking.. But, dead air.. The call was dropped..

Customer service... Very inconsistant.. You could call in 5 times with the same question and get 5 totally different answers.. Call up and see if they offer the new SG7 coverage.. Well, this doesn't exist.. 2 reps said what??? Uhhh... No such thing.. 2 reps said uhhh.. Yes, you are in the new SG7 coverage area.. 1 rep said all the benifits of the new SG7 service.. But, it doesn't exist.. I have too much fun calling these idiots..

what is SG7? the only thing I agree with is on the phone not ringing thing. Back when I didn't know any better and had a CDMA phone with this company (2001-2002) I would get that a lot. The phone would be sitting in my room with full coverage and next thing I knew... I had a voicemail.. I hope they've fixed that. Have they not?

if you are calling for stupid crap like that .. you seriously need to get lai. it's much more enertaining.

Call just about any customer service group in nearly any company and you'll get different answers to the same idiot questions. It's called they make next to nothing and have to take 100+ calls a day from morons like you who are desperately lonely and need some one to talk to. or prople who go grab a new toy that is way out of thier league and need help figuring out how to work it.

these aren't highly technical people they are custoemr sevice reps. they are paid to be nice and fix your bill.

I agree that calling customer service with out a valid reason or with a bogus queston is the height of stupidity.

But I noticed no one bothered to address his first concern of dropped calls, no connections, no ringing and then a voicemail. I have been with verizon for about 10 years and I have no plans on changing, however over the last year I have noticed an increase in dropped calls, in places where they never dropped before, spotty signal at home when home use to be 5 bars, and having to dial a number multiple times to get a connection.

I think the "network" is sick and is getting sicker. I think they have to build out more.

I have also been a verizon cust for bout 10 years and have no plans on changing. a couple months ago i started dropping a bunch of calls and hitting send with nothing happening. then my phone said "car kit" and locked up,nothing worked, took it back, got another one and havent dropped a call since. so, long story short,it's not always the network- could be a bad phone.

Amen brother!

Verizon is the worst. I don't care about the number of customers. Just shows how many stupid people exist in the world.

Paying high prices for junk services, arrogant ignorant reps and restricted services and phone UIs.

Would love to see Verizon crash and burn and all their employees be jobless.

Okay that is a bit extreme. 😳 If you don't like the service then fine but don't wish for people to be jobless. Im not huge fan of Verizon either. All wireless carriers have their issues but you just have to choose the one that is best for you.

So I look at this guys posting history... he has been complaining for over two years.. And from his post above about what he does to customer service, I have to think this is one of the stupidest people alive..

WOW. 😕 This cannot be the SAME Verizon that I've had for 6 wonderful years. NO more than 3 or 4 dropped calls in that time, very nice customer service (nice to ME anyway), good quality LG phones (my favorite cell phone maker). Huh, seriously weird how different people have COMPLTELY opposite experiences with the same company. 🤨

It just depends on where you live. The service isn't great everywhere.

According to Consumer Reports Verizon is the leader in most categories in all but a couple of the cities tested in. That, along with my own experiences with them is all the proof I need that they are the best. 😁

I want to thank you all for the entertainment -
🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 - now perhaps Verizon can get on to some other issues - like launching some new windows-based PDA/Phones.

I'm confused. Was this supposed to be posted in the T-Mobile or AT&T forum?

I have tried AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon over the past four months (in that order) and Verizon is by far the best with regard to call quality and coverage...Hands down.
