I signed up with Verizon Aug 24th. My plan has unlimited incoming calls. Here is a copy of what my plan includes straight from my online account.

Call Forwarding
Basic Voice Mail
NATL IN CALLING-UNLIM*******
NEW EVERY TWO TIERED
UNL NIGHT & WEEKEND MIN
UNL TEXT MESSAGING

So YES they do have unlim incoming calls. At least I do.

That was posted in the Tmobile forum about my statement verizon does not have unlimited incoming calling plans.

That shows me a few things. One verizons terms for IN Calling (m2m) and extended network (Roaming). It also shows that people have no clue what they sign there name too. People read ask questions do some research!!!!

Does it make you feel better to spread this across every forum on PS? Not that I care much but I was just wondering.

Again very funny but again me and a Verizon rep will have something real fun to talk about tomorrow at his store.

Again my bad all.....

no I stated it was funny at first but I think verizon should not try and decieve people with there terms! And that people should pay attention because the sales peopel will not tell you as they want a sale.

you do know what in calling is right. so you only have unlimited in calling from other vzw customers. aka mobile to mobile calls.

yes I pointed that out to the person that thought it ment incoming. That is why I sad what I said in the post. Verzion misleads some that think in means incoming and then the sales person didn't want to lose the sale and probably knew this and didn't correct them!

Verzion misleads some

That appears to be the meaning of your posts...IN calling and incoming calling are two completely different things. You are correct though, people are often clueless about what they sign...don't the signers have some kind of "due dilligence" to be responsible for what they sign...I say yes.

Oh yes they do but it is a trend with verizon. "IN" Calling, Extended network (roaming). But yes I think people should know its more theirs then verizons. Its misleading but not false advertising. Its a fine line. Just my 2cents.

I get it...but IMHO folks don't pay attention to what they are told...I don't speak or pretend to speak for every sales rep, but I know I've told customers things in my presentation and they say they were never told...selective hearing.

Problem is, we are "dumping" so much info on them, they do the glossy eyed look after about 2 minutes...so it's not exclusively our fault...

so true good point. I think the carriers should come out with a fact sheet to be looked over later. Like for every plan and option. What it includes what it deosn't what it will cost if you go over ect

I disagree with you. One person that misunderstood a term is not evidence that this is a planned outcome. The term "in" at Vzw has been around for a while now with little confusion. I've had plenty of people over the years attempt to expand or create their own definition though.

true I think the IN is easier then the extended network. I get people all the time that don't relize it is romaing for verizon.

no but say texting doesn't work as if you were on verizon. I tried it in NC when they came there and they even told me you may get it right away maybe in an hour or you may not get it at all.

Reread his post, He copied over from another post by another user. He had stated to that user that Verizon DOES NOT have unlimited incoming calling plans, and that user had copied that statement from his bill.

The other user did not understand that in-calling unlimited = M2M unlimited not unlimited incoming!
