(Weird...) Has anyone ever had this happen to them?
Every once in a while at around 4:30am my phone's voice-mail indicator rings. When I check the message, I hear myself leaving a voice-mail to another person's phone that I left about two weeks earlier! (The other person is also a VZW subscriber.) 😕
By the way, my phone is the Samsung A310. However, I don't believe the phone is the problem. I leave voice-mail to a lot of people but this weird thing only happened when I left a voice-mail for a VZW customer.
Has anyone ever had this happen to them?
Does anyone have any explanation for this?
Thanks

hey.. the a310 has a answer machine feature in it that overrides your regular voice mail, also it allows you to listen in when someone else is leaving you a message.. i have seen where it does what you described... i suggest you get your manual and turn that feature off. or call tech support free at *611 and explain you want to turn the answer machine option off on the phone...

New to the forum. Yes -- I have exactly had this happen to me, on both a moto T720 and a moto V710 (recently). Happens rarely, but disconcerting to hear one's own voice leaving someone else a vmail from a month or two back, and worrisome, in that it implies a glitch that calls into question where else that vmail may be going.

If you leave a voice mail for someone, and that person does not receive your message, in some coverage areas, the network returns your message to you to indicate that it was no successfully delivered. This occurs in Lucent infrastructure (New Jersey, Dallas, etc). The same occurs if you send a text message to someone that never gets delivered.
