LG's rumored roadmap for AT&T

We're hearing about a bevy of new handsets from LG that should -- by should, we mean it is rumored -- be landing at a store near you between now and the end of year. First up, LG's CU575 "Trax" -- that we've been hearing about for a while now -- may have finally found a solid date with AT&T, look for it to arrive around about August 17th. Based on sales and customer feedback, let's compare the LG/Samsung race to sell Cingular 3G Phones

UMTS only: LG CU320 vs. Samsung ZX-10

LG wins this round. Not only was the slider more popular, it performed better according to customers.

LG CU500 vs. Samsung ZX-20

Ditto for this round

Nowadays, Samsung is trying to win by the quantity of phones released. The Blackjack is a winner but quietly, LG released the CU400 on the low end which has been successful as well.

We have yet to see what kind of a splash the Samsung A717 and A727 will make but when it comes to what at&t cares about, sales, LG beats Samsung to the American UMTS market.
