You should of checked ESN# before you paid for it. If the person wouldn't give it to you than no sale. To bad you can try Calling customer service

knowingly receiving stolen property is a crime (even tho im sure you didnt know that before transaction) and i doubt anyone is ganna be able to do anything to help you activate and use stolen property.....and if they did im sure they would be at risk of loosing their job. 😁

they can still get you for being in possesion of stolen property....piggies are @ssholes like that, not that it would hold up in court or anything.

you should at least try and report the person that sold it to you if you have any way of doing that.

report it to the police, tell them where you bought it, and if the police wants to pursue it they can get the records of the seller, the ISP address, ect..And with some luck, doubtful, you may get your money back. this is why I get the esn number and call verizon before buying any used phone. Legit sellers will give you the esn number.

good luck. let us know how it comes out. as it is now, you have a paper weight as verizon is not going to activate it with a police report on it.

There is a long shot that you could get it back to the owner though...it would take detective work on the part of a csr.
