VERIZON HAS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!

The absolute WORST.

I tried to change my V710 for the third time last week in Burbank, CA.

They wouldn't do it because I didn't have the original receipt from Radio Shack.

The phone has already been swapped out by Verizon, without a receipt about a month ago.

I was on the phone for an hour with customer service who offered to overnight mail me one, yet not knowing it it was a fixed unit or not and without a receipt. However, the customer service in Burbank, CA would not do it!

The camera does not work, the phone freezes up, the caller ID does not always display and I'm fed up with it.

This phone is way overrated as is Verizon. What I'm thinking of doing is exchanging the V710 for a brand new on, selling it and using the mon...

Sorry you had such a bad experience. It is difficult when dealing with a third party store like Radio Shack and if they not find a receipt or proof or purchase for the phone it would be hard to give a whole new phone out. Let CS send u a phone it comes next day air, so would be best bet for u

You people kill me if you dont get it your way then the company is horrible the customer service is horrible etc.. stop crying why wouldnt you keep a receipt for an expensive phone like that anyway dont blame the company or it's employees blame that on your own stupidity.... no matter what company you go to they are going to want you to have a receipt of purchase expecially from a third party vendor like radio shack, whose to say that you didnt but a bootleg one off of ebay or something, they dont know that.....

Having worked for radioshack in the past i know that they are able to print you your reciept for that phone. Just go into the store you purchased it at and ask them to reprint it. Trust me i know it can be done.

lol...good grief...can't believe the audacity of some customers...makes me happy to not be a part of customer service 🙂

SpecialEd: sorry that your experience wasn't a good one, but you should've done all you could to get that receipt back. pizpiz80 is right, if your purchase was indeed made from radioshack, your purchase receipt would be in the computer. i don't even work there, but have had to do the same thing before.

By the way, why would you think that Verizon should swap out a phone that you purchased from another store? If you bought something at Circuit City do you you tyhing Best Buy would take it back? Simple economics. Dumba**
