i just signed up with verizon, im trying them out. i have to say i do get clear calls in places i didnt get calls with att.i got the lg vx8700....its ok i didnt really know what phone to choose. there was nothing that caught my attention.I also looked at the krzr.if anyone has any suggestions about phones or anything else. i would appreciate it....

The 8700 is a nice phone, overall LG is the best phone for Verizon, and you will get very few arguments about that.
If your looking for phones, then the all around best phone is the Lg 8300, if your looking for a "trendy" phone then the 8700 is a great choice.
Motorolas look good but they are notorius for having software problems, I have been selling phones for 7+ years and would heavily advise not getting one. In the long run you will have problems with it, expecially with the razr/krzr line.

This is what happens when you drink the red kool-aid for seven years. To say the 8300 is the best phone really doesn't say much for Verizon.
I have a v60s, an e815, and a v325. The 8300 can't touch them when it comes to reception, and isn't that Verizon's biggest selling point.

wfine is right, the razr line is crap. I am also in the business. you guys don't have to take our word for it but Motorola phones consistently come back with problems much more often than LG or any other of the brands we carry. It's not just because we "don't like" Motorola. If they worked well, we'd love them. I love the design of the RAZR and KRZR, I just don't like to sell them because there is a much greater chance they are going to give the customer problems. Yes, we are concerned about reception but more importantly, we are concerned with customer service. And as an individual, I am also concerned with my commission. If I sell Motorola and it comes back and they cancel service, I lose said commission. That is why I try to sell only LG ...

I think your good. Out of all the VZW phones (non pda) I would get the lg9900 or lg8700.
