Verizon employees???sprint/nextel account ####
OMG, Why is Nextel so gheto about giving a customer their account number. It is so annoying, that and number block crap. They are leaving and porting to us either way, why be aholes just to get one last jab at them when they are heading out the door.

good info guys, thanks for the help! I always just use 000000 for tmobile, cingular, and even sprint, but nextel has always been anal.. i have tried typing like nextel in there and it fails,

I always use the social for all carriers and it works like a charm. 99% of the time the customer doesn't have account number and it saves a ton of time trying to get it. I don't even ask for it. The only time the ssn wont work is for porting of a prepay account since their social wont be on file. You'll have to have the account number then.

u may find this wierd however i work a sprint only store and I have trouble getting Nextel account numbers also... Go Figure

just have ur customer tell them they need it to do a wire transfer for bill pay. i get it every time!
