Chocolates, from what I've heard. Q and 700w: I know that from experience.

The Q is a good concept, but a bad phone.

the Q has its issues but most have been addressed with software updates. I've had one since october and its been good to me. Problem is it isn't what people expect. It does too much for people who should probably have an EnV and doesn't do enough for people who should have a treo but don't want to pay for it.

My E815 was perfect. I left it for a VX8100, which was a dumb move.

I did the opposite and I couldn't have been happier. I hated the 815. 3 bars can't make a call. 1 bar on my 8100 perfect. I will agree that for most people it was a good phone. Some of it I think is based on where you use it. I'm done giving moto chances, everty time I do it bites me in the a$$.

I had bars, even in the valley of the shadow of death. I couldn't get music on the 8100. Verizon said that, at the time, my phone was too new to do that.

Why couldn't you get music on the 8100?

They said that my software was "too new". If that's the case, then why the **** did they advertise that you could put your own music on there?!

Yes! I agree.. I have the KRZR and the ringer IDs do not work at all!! Techs told me that they have been getting a lot of people coming in with issues with the phone. Did not get a replacement phone and they told me nothing can be done about the problem!! 👿 Sucks because I like to set different songs for family, friends and so on.

The replies you're getting match what I've heard from reps myself... LG Chocolates have a lot of problems, and so do most Motorolas (with the E815 being the exception).

I also hear that, on the whole, Samsungs have the fewest problems, and that the LG 8300 was quite reliable too. That was from a store tech.

I guess I was lucky when I had my E815, huh?

Like I said, E815s were the exception. Motos in general... not so reliable, sad...

Most Samsungs have been junk since the a670 left us. THe u740 has been ok so far, but the 950 and the 930 were garbage. the 990 had an awesome camera that took 5 seconds to take a picture. they should revert to putting antennas on their phones...oh and quit sucking

i have the 990 and love it. the camera is slow if you have the auto focus on but if you disable it it takes pics fast and still very clear. can't wait till the new version comes out

That's odd. I consistently hear good things about the u540 and u340, including reception.

I never had an interest in the 930 or 950, so I can't comment. But I'd much rather roll the dice on a Samsung than a new or recently-released Moto at this point. 😳

I'm also starting to become interested in the LG 8600, but I hear the speakerphone on it kinda sucks, which kills it for me, as I use speakerphone a bunch. 😢

RAZR's---Poor Battery Life

Chocolates - Slide goes loose, screen goes blank, chargers don't fit, scratches too easily, u know.. there's just too much to list..just don't buy it

8700 - Poor Reception (in some areas, not all)

Treo 700 - Touch screen quits working, charge port issues

Those are the most popular in my store location.... Hope it helps!

8700 poor reception... that is nuts, i might agree on the 8600 but i live in a crappy area and have had better luck with 8700 than many other models, including the lg8100, moto 815, nokia 6315, 9900
