I'm looking for a new phone asap and just want an honest view of which might be best. I want speaker phone and a camera would be nice.I wouldn't use BlueTooth so I don't need it. Help?

I have played with them both and made some test calls in a limited area. Signal and call quality were equal. Regarding the camera, I think the LG is better. Less distortion and better color plus you have flash capability. Regarding the speaker phone, the 265 is better. I don't like the plastic feel/touch of the LG but the 265 isn't any better, feeling a little flimsy. Given Moto's recent history of issues, I would go with the LG. You get a better camera, decent (though not great) speaker phone, and what feels to be sturdier construction. My two cents.

I tested 6LG 100, AV 9900 and M V265. I had planned to buy the 9900. But, the people at the verison were so rude (didn't look up when I walked in; I walked to the desk and asked for help, they said "what are your questions" and I had to remind the woman the phones were attached to the wall and she'd have to get out of er chair and drag herself to the displays. But, I digress.

Verizon, of course, had only LG and AV. Tried both, got interference on the LG, plus the comment about problems getting the phone to sit on your ear properly was true. The 9900 was much clearer, bu so big! Would have bought it but the staff continued to ignore me, so I walked across to radio shack where I mentioned V265 and he went an opened his shipment - ta da!
