I am wondering if this phone sells out on initial launch how much these things will go on Ebay. I might go buy one pay the cancellation fee and Ebay it.. I am just wondering if there will be idiots willing to pay $1000 + if they sell out in stores

i thought if you cancl your service you have to return the phone as well, or pay the full price...since the iphones 600 with a 2year contract its prob 800 without..then paying the 175 cancl fee your at 975 plus the prorated phone bill for the month where most likely they'll charge you for the entire month another give or take 60buks now your at 1035 plus taxes and what not .007 plus state tax fed tax comm tax hmmm lets say another 60 buks...now your at 1095 lets round it off 1100. Now lets say you do sell it for 1000..now your in the hole 100 buks and you wasted all that time...

the Iphone is not Sunsidized( just another reason I think this thing is stupid) So You are forced to pay full reatil(599)Signing a contract just gives you the privelage of paying full retail for it. Even if it was discounted that is why there is the cancellation fee( to cover the discount they gave the custoemr) So If I sign a 2 year and cancel and they charge fee 600 for the phone then 150-200 to cancel I will be 750-800 for the phone, if some jackass pays 1000 for it on ebay it woould be worth it to me..but probably not worth the headache unless i could get more than 1000 out of it, I just wonder how much it could really go for, especially if someone figures out how to unlock them, I am sure there is a Tmobile Customer out there that would...

HAHAH LOL@wfine81...yeah you might find someone...but again is it worth the headache of ebay...2bad many people don't know that there will be a prepaid version of it as well...and there will be a European version..which will be a lot easier to unlock..if its GSM its unlock able. their shipping 4million out...but with all their marketing genius and what happened to the ps3 im sure they will have the supply for the demand.

From what I have been hearing from the higher ups is that the iPhone will not have a sim card slot and will be locked to that customer's account via imei/esn number. All activation will be done over the phone after you purchase them and in order to activate it you must show proof of purchase from either the Apple or Cingular Corp store.
