Is Verizon Really Better Than Cingular???????
I currently have cingular. for 5 years i had sprint. sprint was ok but wanted something better. went to alltel and they just plain suck!!! so i went to cingular. my problem with them is that their insurance does not cover smartphones and thats the next phone that i want to purchase and their customer service sucks real bad.Those people always seem to have an attitude problem and i don't have time for that. a few of my family members have verizon and seem to always have signal everywhere. and some of my friends have verizon as well. in fact one of my friends just switched to verizon from cingular because she said verizon was more reliable than cingular. with cingular i get signal everywhere but i am just not feeling paying alot of money for ...

Cingular HAS to have more towers because one of their towers doesn't have the capacity of one of Verizon's towers. The signal also doesn't travel as far. So yes Cingular has more weaker obsolete towers. 😁

You really have to remember 3 things.
1. Coverage. If you pay 2 dollars per month for 7 million minutes it doesn't matter if you can't make a call. Verizon wins this because they have more coverage and a better network than any other carrier. If you want proof take advantage of their test drive.
