Is the L7c still available in stores?

I'm probably going to get the L7c as I'm not excited about the keys on the LG 8700 and I don't like the interface on the Razr Maxx. I know the Slvr can be flashed to Moto UI, and I plan to after the first 30 days if I REALLY don't like the interface (I know it'll be similar to the Maxx).

I didn't see the Slvr at my local Circuit City location, i haven't looked at the local corporate store.

The Slvr forum here has VERY little activity, that's why I asked in the general VZW forum. Thanks.

That phone is a piece of crap. Why would you want such crap?

That's partially why I asked, I'd like to see it and hold it in my hand to see if I really want it.

Please elaborate on what makes it "a piece of crap".

I do eventually plan on flashing it with Alltel firmware, so the UI isn't much of a problem for me.

I had it for a short time. It's like a non-flip KRZR, except the SLVR supports 2GB, while the KRZR supports only one.

LG should make a thin bar phone. SLVRs are crap and those thin GSM Samsungs are even worse.

I have held the dummy version. The body sucks. It's heavy, too thick, and the keypad is too small.

I didn't even play with the software or reception/sound quality.

So your comment in another post "the slvr sucks" (paraphrased) is because of your opinion that that it's too heavy, too thick and the keypad is too small?

I held one the other day, I didn't feel that way. More important to me is the reception and sound quality...

Which you won't get with the SLVR line. Haven't personally tested the Verizon L7c, but the Sprint L7c and the L7 all have sucky reception.
