I posted a message on a different subject and got responses that the SHINE may be the phone for me. I have not yet seen it in any stores.

As far as I know, there is nothing set. The 8700 is a flip version, you might want to look into that. It feels very solid.

the thing about the 8700 is that the pictures online do not do it justice at all!! its a very very pretty phone in person. it feels very solid and it functions very nice. the flash UI is a neat design for the phone. im going from the enV to the 8700. i get it on tuesday. the only thing i will miss about the env is the auto focus on the camera and the 4.5 hr battery life. but thats ok. i can deal. i get my phone on tuesday and i cant wait. 🙂

For photos, just Google it... 'LG shine' does the trick.
And as WB said, the LG 8700 is the flip phone version of it... the styling is extremely similar. And the 8700's already out.
