most employee discounts will give you a percentage of the monthly access on any line that is $34.99 or more and %25 on accessories. In addition, some have other discounts or credit offers that are specific to that company (usually larger accounts like Home Depot or Microsoft, etc.). Call in and we can check.

I had a friend that called and his company gets a 10% discount. He also got his activations waived, and great deals on phones and no mail in rebates. The phones arrived in a couple days. The sales rep over the phone told him that a lot of companies, gov't employees (city, county, state, federal, military personnel) get great deals on phones as well as the plans. Call first when it's time to upgrade to check if you can too.

You wont be able to get the discount off of phones if you go to a store or call customer service. Depending on where your wife works will depend on how she would go about getting phones at a discount. With a few minor exceptions all companies that give discounts off of your monthly access charges also get discounts off of phones.

You can not combine the discount she would get with other discount programs, such as the New Every Two. So if you are going to be getting the New Every Two on one of your lines you are most likely going to get a better deal doing the upgrade on verizonwireless.com, if the line is not eligible for the new every two you will want to have her look into how to get her discount through her employer or use a free phone...
