I had a Nokia 6256 and it broke in half. I currently have a ol Samsung 670. This is MY ONLY PHONE so quality is my number 1 priority. Number 2 would be durability #3 would be features. Which phone should I get?

The Maxx appears to have everything you're looking for.

True, with the sole exceptions of quality and durability.

Go with the 8300 or a Gzone

if quality and durability are to priority then lg is the way to go. The max is nice but the build quality on the 8700 is amazing. I would also trust Lg to have their phone working right out of the box while new motos always have crap screwed up on them for months until software fixes or replacement models some out. Their past phones are proof of that and I lost faith in them, I will not buy a moto until it is out for a few months. My money would be on the lg.

I disagree about the Moto always takings a few months. I bought my E815 the first day it was available almost 2 years ago on July 5. Never had a problem and not sure that I want to give it up. Best phone I have ever owned.

I still regret leaving my E815 for a VX8100.

Everybody keeps bringing up the E815 in Moto's defense. The E815 is the only good moto for Verizon in the past 7 years.

exacty, and it was not all that either imo, I have one sitting in a drawer at home. It was a good phone but nothing special, people just rave about it because it is the only moto to work good since the original v60

That is why I'm pondering leaving my E815 for either the new LG 8700 or the Moto Maxx. It still does what I want a cell phone to do - make phone calls without noise or dropped calls.

why get the 8700? caller ID is hard to read on that outter screen....the maxx has a huge outter screen and everyhting else (including solid build) is excellent
