Anybody here use Howard Forums?
I just joined last night and I didn't get the premium plan thing. The text under your username in posts: how do you change that? I think you can only do it with the premium plan, but why does it change by itself? My first post said "Where's the powerbutton?" and I'm on my 10th post and now it says "Phone fan"
whatsup??!?!

It's like an experience meter... the comment make you sound more and more competant as you post more.

Why didn't you just ask the people at Howard Forums?

Im not a big fan of hofo...i dont like the way its organized...however I do like the fact they are more strict in terms of posting...phone scoop really needs to grab the reigns on some of these boards, they were out of control for a while

Yeah, they are kinda stricter on HoFo...
Like how this should have been posted in the "Lounge"?

wfine81 brings good info though....so I'll let that one slide

I have the view settings changed on Howard Forums so it's more like Phone Scoop. I too hate flat messages.

I'm also on Howard Forums, and I haven't bothered with the settings on how the messages should be displayed. There's another messageboard I had to use flat view, because the tree message layout looked horrible. But as a reminder, be careful how you post. That site doesn't want any form of profanity (or what they consider profanity). When I was b**ch was completely blocked out when I typed the word out in its entirity, I went back and edited it. They banned me for 3 days for bypassing the swear filter. To me, it's not a bad word, and stand firm I did nothing wrong, no matter what anyone says.

I like hofo for their great 411 but I don't appreciate their strict Nazi like moderators 😈
I do like the options they give you under your profile like creating your own signature, you can upload big pictures with your own personal messages...but overall the freedom of PS is for me, bitches 😛

I don't go there as often as here, but have found it to be a great source for info of a more technical nature. I find Phonescoop to be "easier on the eyes", in terms of layout, etc. I do like much about HoFo though.
