Deposit qusetion for a friend

a friend is looking to switch from cincinnatti bell wireless to vzw...they want a $400 deposit...is there anyway he can avoid it? Such as automatic withdrawl or anything? Just curious...this damn in stuff gets us all....everyone he knows is on vzw...didnt know if there was a loop hole..thanks folks

Easypay for 50 bucks a month. Unlimited IN, 3000 night and weekend minutes and 350 daytime minutes. If they don't want to lay down the 400, this is an acceptable alternative.

Last I remember reading is you get your deposit back in 12 months if you pay your bill on time the whole twelve months, if you are late one month, then it resets the clock. Unless they changed it.

Also, you can add a line to your account for him. But I would also get $175 up front from him in case it goes south and you have to shut the line down and pay the ETF.
