No incentive for qualty of service

There are many posts complaining about the various carriers.... But, what everyone forgets, is, when they all suck, there is no incentive for 'Quality of Service'. Which is why Verizons service is marginal at best... Poor quality Customer Service and Product.. But, when everyone else sucks even worse.. There is no incentive for improvement.. But wait.. If VZW doesn't suck up Alltel or US Cellular... Things could change.. They might have to offer actual customer service.. They might have to offer quality of service.. they must have to offer top line products instead of factory seconds.. Did you know, refurbs are US Cellular's factory seconds..

My 2 Cents - When you are the best of the worst.. Why would you want to improve..

There is plenty of incentive to provide great customer service at VZW. It is ironic that Verizon actually pays bonuses to no-commissioned employees when goals are met. Nevermind that Verizon is still behind AT&T in total subs. Generally, employees are going to go as far as possible to make the customer happy. Customers who do not subscribe to insurance and then break their phones and demand a new one at no extra charge...is a stretch, but within reason. No one wants to lose a customer because the rep could not smile or show a bit of empathy. Getting cursed at once or twice a day is not easy to take, but just thinking about that fat check makes it a lot more bearable. That is my opinion, however do not be surprised if employees who pos...

As someone else here said, sometimes it is a few "duds" who curse at the employees or expect 5 free phones for their family share plan because one of them dropped a call once in Cleveland.
While you are posting your opinion, I had to reply with mine.
No carrier is perfect but it is obvious based on my personal experi...

If their PDA data rates were cheaper (more around the Sprint range) they'd be the perfect carrier.

My 2 Cents- no matter where you go or where you are there are always HUMANS that don't care or don't prioritize things. VZW employees are HUMAN, therefore they are going to behave as such. Verizon Wireless does not consist on the behavior of some people...it is a Wireless Network and there are HUMANS that provide the service. Nothing is perfect and no ONE person is perfect...not me and not even you! I have had bad service from other companies (not ness. wireless) and because of a few people I changed my impression, but it isn't like that. Give the company a chance to make it right if valid, don't judge because we are "human". SMILE~it helps!! (also my opinion)
