No big change is plans or features - Mobile TV yes, but thats still in its infancy.

STI - not a bad thing though - for those who work for VZW.

Short term incentive... yearly bonus. Not too bad.

Although,,,

New TXT plans ...

not sure if already posted...

10.00 = Unlim in + 500
15.00 = "" "" 1500
20.00 = "" "" 5000

Still not what I was hoping for as a "competitive edge" on the market place, but eh... "they can't all be zingers." - Primus

Okay,

So, I just upped my plan to the 15.00 one at the beggining of my billing cycle on Feb 7th, 2007. Do I need to change my plan again to get the increased number of text messages? Or if you are currently on the 15.00 plan do you automatically get the extra 500 messages. Thanks for your help

You should see an automatic update. Anyone with the lower $15/$20 packages gets moved to the new plan. My guess it that you move with your bill cycle date, but you would have to check with VZW on that technicality.

I don't think you will get moved because if you do then out of plan messages will be $0.15 cents instead of $.10 like the plan your on now.

Thanks.

That is wrong! With a text plan (even the updated ones) overage is still $0.10 each

Only those with no text plan will pay the $0.15 overage. Any VZW rep worth their STIP will back me on that.
