The LG 8300 is the ONLY verizon phone worth having.
The only other phone I would recommend is the Motorola 325i and thats just do to good RF.... so come on verizon give us something else worthwhile, I don't want strawberry chocolate, and the razr MAXX is weak too. C'mon!!

Yeah I dont REALLY think you know what your talking about! I have an enV & not only do I have good rf but EXELLENT battery talk time & full text keyboard. My co-worker has the 8600 and has absolutely had ZERO problems. Try all the phones before you dog them, & just because you LOOK at them doesnt mean you know ALL about them. 🤣

yeah I have used almost all of these phone and yes the 9900 is good for text maniacs but for the average consumer it offers nothing. The 8300 is the Best phone verizon has to offer and I'm glad they have it...but they need more phones like it and better! next you'll be telling me the Q is awesome.

Only about four or five of those phones are not at verizon corp store, I have tried them all except for the few that are online only phones, but they are total junk anyways... my point is not one of them are worthwhile handsets...verizon needs to put out better phones!

The only difference between the LG VX8600 and the LG VX8300 is the way they look. All of the features are the same. The 8600 has more menu display options. Saying that the 8300 is a great phone but the 8600 sucks makes absolutely no sense. Do a little bit of research before you make obnoxious claims.

The 8600 is complete garbage, the speaker phone sucks, the build quality sucks, and the reception is not as good as the 8300!! just cuz you are creaming over the 8600 does not make it a better phone.

In the "force analog" mode, the LG VX5300 gets better reception than the older 1/2 watt analog only phones (based on personal experience). The digital reception is about the same. The LG VX5300 also has less problems than the Motorola V325i. The fact that you'd take it over the LG VX5300 also proves that you don't know what you're talking about.

The Motorola V325i has been known to develop the same delay issues as the RAZR. It's not common, but I've had some come back that way. More common is a charging issue. It develops incompatibility issues with the OEM charger. But, again, you don't know what you're talking about so you wouldn't know.

Laugh it up because your experience with these phones involves going to a corporate store and looking at them. I deal with people that live in analog areas all the time. I have to know which ones will and won't work in which areas. From personal experience, the LG VX5300 gets better analog reception. I don't even know why I bother...

I can speak for the 8300 and 8600, and they both work good. as far as the speaker phone feature, as far as I am concerned, they both suck. Lg only had one good speaker phone and that was the 8000, that speaker phone was by far the best speaker phone verizon has had. But other then the speaker phone, the 8300 and 8600 are good phones, if you think the 8600 sucks and is garbage, well you would have to say that about the 8300 also.

The enV has a very good speakerphone as does the new Samsung 740.
The best speakerphone I've ever had from a standard phone was actually the little LG 3450. It was loud, never echoed and the mic could pick up my voice from 5-6 feet away.
Also, the LG PTT - 4650 has a very good speakerphone on it too. Too bad nothing else.

yeah, speakerphones on cell phones have not been perfect by any means. Lg did let the ball drop on the 8600 and 8300 when it comes to speakerphone. They proved they were able to do it in the past, what happened? If it was not for wanting to move to bluetooth, I would still have my 8000, that is a awesome phone.

I dont even know wher to begin. First of all, the kid who started this post- look at his handle: new 2 T Mobile. hmmmm ... a little bias perhaps? Okay lets say that kid worked for an agent. So he got hold of a few phones, but since vzw doesnt do sim card technology, he cant just swap it out and test it. also, he never said exactly what his experiences with his hated phones were. He is correct that the 8300 is an excellent phone... but why is he correct? lets compare.
