You must be replying to another post. If you read my post you will find that I am venting my disgust over inept, lying, non-english speaking customer service reps that tracfone uses to handle problems. I repeat, their phones work ok as long as you don't have a problem. Their customer service is garbage. I am not a racist but a person that does not have full command of the ENGLISH language finds it very very difficult to understand intricate problems. Tracfone is ok as long as you don't have to talk to customer service...


My point was that most folks who buy Tracfones are doing so to have low cost cellphones and service. That said, companies which provide discount services must cut corners somewhere, and most people understand that.

My recommendation then is not to avoid Tracfone, but to realize that you're not going to get five star treatment from a company that offers phones for $10 and monthly service for even less.

Bottom line is: my Tracfone dies, I'll just throw it in the garbage and get another. Wow, ten whole bucks to replace? I think I can swing it.
