Working for U.S. Cellular has been the worst professional experience of my life. This company consistently makes decisions that not only negatively impacts its own customers; they are clearly not having all that positive an impact on its bottom line. For example, the company discontinued all sorts of programs that help to build brand loyalty, then increased/ created fees for almost every action a customer makes and still... they have poor business results.

The managers that are left at this org are, for the most part, scared for their jobs and incompetent ( a dangerous combination).

Our point of sale system is a complete disaster and these clowns and liars that call themselves leaders are nothing but a group of overpaid slow/poor dec...

From what I've heard from friends, US Cellular is an awful place to work, especially after their billing system fiasco. Mary Dillion bolted after she destroyed the company. I'm sure she was paid several million by US Cellular as a reward for destroying them too.

I was watching the Ohio State vs Iowa game today and noticed both coaches were wearing cell phone carrier branded headsets. Ohio State was AT&T which looked professional. It had a plastic molded logo on the sides and the top was branded professionally too.

Then I looked at Iowa's coach and he had US Cellular. Talk about unprofessional. The sides looked like they were cut out of paper and literally scotch taped on, while the top of his headset was simply a bumper sticker. ...

MM,

Interesting observation. It is so true that U.S. Cellular is held together by hunks of manure and twigs. They literally give you the fewest tools in the game and ask you to grow its business. Are they (the management) insane? Nope, just lazy, slow, stupid, incompetent and unaccountable for the non-sense we live through day to day. Once again... F-You USCC... Really, go collectively f-yourself. You have treated your customers, associates and all sorts of stakeholders like crap and I hope you get what you have coming... business failure. 😲 😲 😲 😲 😲

Much love to all except leaders of this organization!

Seems like US Cellular is in constant, perpetual damage control. All you hear is "we're sorry this happened" or "we're sorry that happened." The company has gone so far downhill in the past 5 years. Now all they're interested in is the bottom line, squeezing every last penny they can get out of everything. All the tools are old, worn out and dilapidated. They have become the Dollar General of the cell industry-just plain junk. ☚ī¸

Not only do I agee with everything said here, I'll mention this as well.

As an ex agent-thank god! I can tell you not only do they treat customers badly (a sad turn of events) the lie and treat their agents badly also.

I've been traveling since closing my locations, each and every place I've stopped has bad morale and the new hires now nothing. In a couple of places, they had people who had come over from other carriers and they made no bones about leaving USCC as they can't make any money, do to the lack of customers coming in the door.

The agents that really helped build this company early on are fed up with the web sales.

As for TOPS it's the Bottom. Twice I could not make a payment as the system is down, and associates ...
