As an ex agent-thank god! I can tell you not only do they treat customers badly (a sad turn of events) the lie and treat their agents badly also.
I've been traveling since closing my locations, each and every place I've stopped has bad morale and the new hires now nothing. In a couple of places, they had people who had come over from other carriers and they made no bones about leaving USCC as they can't make any money, do to the lack of customers coming in the door.
The agents that really helped build this company early on are fed up with the web sales.
As for TOPS it's the Bottom. Twice I could not make a payment as the system is down, and associates are on the phone more than ever.
The web site SUCKS, slow, down lots of the time, the customer service phone lines are always long hold times.
And customers are furious over the billing mistakes, date changes, double payments, the reduction in reward usage, the bait and switch of "Belief Plans" Yes I believe we were lied to and screwed.
And those "NEW" plans well, they are just like everbody else's.
This company went to hell in a handbasket fast after little miss Happy Meal showed up and wrecked it.
My advice? Get out as fast as you can before there is nothing to get out from.
If you're an agent read those "new" contracts word for word.
