I heard that US Cellular is postponing their LTE roll out from the 4th quarter to the 1st quarter 2012. That seems like a big mistake considering how they were stating in press releases that it will be available for sale by the holiday season. I guess the holiday season must not be that big of a deal for them unlike every other company. That's two strikes against US Cellular. You have all these competitors now offering the iPhone and now USCC is postponing LTE--something that could have given them a competitive advantage or at least got them back in the game. What you will get is people porting their US Cellular service out to Verizon for their LTE service (that is activating in new cities all the time) or to other companies to purchase the iPhone. You have competitors like T-Mobile that have HSPA+ that runs up to 40mbs, you have Sprint with Wi-Max, you have Verizon with LTE, you have ATT with HSPA+ and soon LTE. All of them with very fast data service. US Cellular is lagging behind like usual.
