Im not buying that...
While I won't disagree that US Cellular has a testing process, and it may be good (I don't really know), I do not think that US Cellular's rigorous testing process is the reason it does not get things first.
If this is the case, someone explain this to me:
Why is it that every smaller carrier gets releases later than each of the 4 big carriers? For example, just look at the phones that they receive. Just about all of the time, the smaller carriers will get the same (or similar) models months after the big carriers (if they get them at all).
Is it because each of the smaller carriers have a much rigorous testing program than the big carriers? Or is it more reasonable to conclude that the bigger the carrier, the more buying power it has (and higher priority to the manufacturers), which leads to quicker releases in hardware and software?
