Just like the old saying goes, be careful what you ask for, you just might get it. The trade off of simpler plans means less customization, less personalization of plans to suit the individual's need. People are getting bundled choices in a "3 sizes fit all" scheme. Also, the prices have went up on the new plans. If prices went down, then I think more people would be excited about the new plans. Yes, you get perks like rewards points, but it equals out the same when you pay $15-$20 a month more in price. In 10 months, you've paid $150 to $200 more which would pay for a phone outright. Personally, I would rather pocket that money than pay it to USCC to get a new phone 1 year or 14 months down the road. Belief project is just a name, but it's kind of weird. It has a quasi-religious sound to it even if that's not the intention. It sounds like, according to USCC reps, USCC will tweak the plans as they see fit. I guess they'll try to offer high rates, then when that doesn't work, they'll tweak them to try to entice people to switch. I guess it's best to start out high (price) and then work your way down until you get people to buy.
