really, you think the plans are more expensive than other carriers, 1st what was our more popular plan (nat'l 1000, unlimited text, unlimited internet for smart phone and insurance) was $106. Right around what other providers, (VZW, AT&T) offer. Now the new rate plan is 89.99 for 500 more minutes (96 with insurance) a savings of $6-16. How is that more expensive when the rate gives you more than what we used to offer and more than VZW and AT&T currently offer in their plans.
Now if they want to spend $3 more, then they get unlimited minutes for their plan and it includes phone replacement. 2 insurance exchanges for free as long as the customer has the phone, and 1 time $100 deductible if the phone is lost or stolen.
AND the customer still gets 7-7 N&W included, FREE incoming calls, Overage Protection, overage cap ($50 for single, $150 family), the new rewards system which in some cases allows them to upgrade every 10 months, WITH OUT HAVING TO SIGN A CONTRACT.
Ok lets look at a family plan. EX. VZW/AT&T 1400 w/ unlimited text for 3 lines. Both VZW/AT&T are 89.99 for the first 2 lines and 9.99 for the third. Unlimited text is $30. That's $129.99. Our 1200 min plan w/ unlimited text is $119.99. $10 less then the competition. Now wait, that's 200 min less than either of the 1st... N&W at 7pm, and free incoming calls and please read the previous paragraph.
Now lets look if this plan has smart phones on it. Take AT&T; $25 data (for 2GB) times 3= $205 a month. VZW is $30 for each times 3= $220 a month. Our 1500 min plan is $180/mo for the same features. That's $25-$40 less.
Now for unlimited AT&T/VZW is $170 for 3 lines of voice. Add $30 for text, and $25-$30 for smart phones. That's between $275 and $290/month. $230 with USCC!!! That's a $45-60 savings. Each additional line is also $50... thats not 50 +30 for a smart phone either.
Again these plans aren't for everyone, but in most cases these will work and in other the peace of mind.
