I want to work in a US Cell store.

I have sales experience although it has been awhile and have recently decided to seek a new career. I am wondering how much the average sales / customer service person makes at US Cellular's retail locations? I am in New Hampshire if that helps.

Thanks
Norm

Norm,

Where in NH are you? I am an agent for USC and have 3 locations in NH and 3 in VT.

Agent's pay different but still pay well.

Hey Drksyde,

I live in Concord. You have any full time positions available?

I don't know where you work that you are only making 1800 a month in commissions, but I average about 3000 a month in commission. USCC pays very well.

Where are the places that you all work? Agent or Retail?

I have salespeople that work for me that are averaging $45K and higher.

What do you consider a busy store?

I just started at a US Cellular store in Princeton, WV and my starting rate was $9.00/hour with commission though I'm not sure of the average commission per check. For this area, 9/hour is incredibly good.

I would take a pass. USCC is not where you want to be employed.

Why not? I make bank and I'm still a teenager. I made more money than my mom did last year. Yeah you have to deal with some bs, there are some people that you don't like dealing with and sometimes customers aren't as nice as you would like them to be, but find me a job where you are going to love every second of every day and never meet an unhappy person.
There is no way that USCC is a bad company to work for. They pay awesome and you get a crazy discount on service, phones are a little bit more expensive than for customer's but who cares when you make as much money as i do.

Keep up the good work! It sounds like you are a valuable employee. You sound like the type of employee that another communication company would try to steal.
