does anyone know why text messaging doesn't always work with uscc ? I tried opening a google email account and found out that google sends you a text message with a code in order to open your account. Well...., uscc doesn't have google on their list of comanies that the accept text messages from....in fact, only certain companies are on the uscc list. why don't they accept all text messages.....?

why.......?

I'm not positive, so anyone can feel free to correct me, but it is probably because they are afraid letting companies send SMS directly into their system will bypass the need for the $1.95 e-mail address. The problem with this is that a lot of services (i.e. Google, AOL) simply won't let you use this e-mail address, they just want a mobile number.

Well if it requires that you use an email then enter it in as a email and not a text message to a phone, that way you can still send it but I haven't had any problems sending or recieving text and I have a plan and a tt phone. It could be something wrong with the settings on your phone or just call tech support and ask them.
