Who (in here) claims to work for US Cellular?
One answer per person, not per username.
...
I dont claim to, i do. 😁
I am an assistant manager for the northern california market. Mount Shasta and Yreka. 😉

I do!
...
I WORK FOR AN AGENT OF US CELLULAR.
...
I'm a customer service rep 😛
...
so does anyone want to play some kind of OLR treasure hunt type quiz?
...
Nothing yet, just preliminary, but asking questions that people would have to look at the OLR to answer. Anyone could start it. I'm just trying to find a good number of people at one time.
...
preferably something hard but easy to find like who does us cellular use to monitor fraud/cloning.
...
I'm expecting you to answer that.
...
the page cannot be displayed
...
thats not for you anyway : ) and yes it can.
...

Page not found- guess I will try again in a min!
...
I take that quiz, I am our bluetooth specialist in an agent location in STL... 😎
...
i work for uscc i am an agent. 🙂
...
What is the decimal version of ESN 4378d2ea? and what manufacturer is it?
...
06707918314
i believe kyocera
...
damnit, that wasn't for you 😛
I wanted to give a really easy one to someone who i thought was an obvious fraud.
I will find a good one for you though, since i know you work for us cellular.
...
technically, you don't need access to the olr to do an esn hex to dec conversion.
better make it a little harder for these wannabe's.
...
what about you? : ) do you want a question?
...
I would hope you're kidding after my array of posts, but if you must....bring it 😁
...
And you also don't need to be an employee to know ESN prefixes. The TIA has them posted here: http://www.tiaonline.org/standards/resources/ esn/codes.cfm
...

You don't need to work for uscc to convert it, but to know the manufacturer you do.
...
I most definitely do NOT. Nor do i work in the cellular industry at all. I work in IT but have a love for most digital technology. And what are cell phones anyway if not a small computer?
...
does anyone use a computer to compute?
...
Accounting. Physicists. Statisticians. So yes i do believe so :-).
...
ok, ya got me on a technicality!
A computer is a very expensive nintendo for most.
...
and porn downloading machine.
...
Games are actually some of the most computation intensive tasks computers do with the physics calculations and rendering and such. :-D
And besides...your nintendo/xbox/ps2 is just a computer as well only designed for a specific task. 😉
...
I know that, but you do not spend 1,000-3,000 to play video games.... well, i do not.
...
Neither do I. Although with the price of the xbox 360 you're gettin up there. I buy my computer for email, web browsing, graphic design, database design, web programming, music and photo storage.

You are correct. If it weren't for games most of us could get by with a 386 DX266. Speaking of games, the best game I've ever played is Guild Wars. I have 4 lvl 20 chars. Anyone else here play Guild Wars??!!
...
I've never actually even heard of guild wars. That is most likely because i'm not really a gamer. I would consider myself more of the power user variety. And a hardcore Mac advocate 🙂 .
I did greatly enjoy Diablo 2 back when i played it as well as Marathon Infinity back in the day. That was great for LAN parties.
...
only geeks and losers play guildwars.

LOL. Once again, you speak from inexperience. But I will take it easy on you cuz you have reformed a bit ever since your near-death-experience and subsequent conversion to Christianity.
...
heres a question for the people in hear that claim to work for uscc!
what is the 3rd option on a signal claim for the nokia 6585? i know its a little tough and hard to find but lets see the answers
...
awsome i thought i was one of the only people that knew about the page
...
Although it's okay to admit that you work for US Cellular -- keep in mind that the policies and procedures listed in OLR are confidential/proprietary material and are not something that should be posted to a public message board.
Even though this is a "private forum" -- anyone can read the messages that are posted without having to log in.
Just some food for thought.
...
your point is???
we all have our on mind to make decisions so i think we all understand the consequences when we post on this thing 😎

My point is, whether you are an agent and have the limited version of agent OLR, or work in a call center or retail location and have full access to OLR for USCellular -- that information contained there should not be posted here -- it isn't public information, it is confidential.
If you work in an agent location -- next time you see your AAE, ask them -- if you're in a USC retail store, as your Sales Supervisor or Store Manager... my guess if they find out that OLR information was being posted on a public website, I don't think the outcome would be p...

As long as the info is not about policies and the such you can put none confidential info on here that can only be found in the olr. Like in Missouri what market is the county of Benton in. Good question and who really wants to know what market Benton is in, but you have to have access to the olr to answer it.
...
There really isnt any proprietary information on the OLR that cannot be found elsewhere... Policies are available upon request.
...
Although much of the information contained in OLR can be located elsewhere (such as on the internet), perhaps someone should clue you in that the OLR itself is considered proprietary information, therefore property of the company and not to be distributed outside of the company.
In addition, it would be unethical to be revealing this information. Company policies are typically not "available upon request" to anyone outside the company -- they are only there for the use of the Associates and Agent channels.
...
name one policy that is kept secret? and tell me on the olr where it says the information is not intended for distrobution.
...
If you are, in fact, a USCellular Associate, then I recommend that you read your US Cellular Code of Business Conduct booklet -- specifically pages 10, 11 and 12, which pretty much sums it up.
...
sorry, not finding that on the olr. was never presented to me, so i guess it doesnt apply to me or else someone would have told me about it.
...
It applies to all Associates of the company and it would have been presented to you when you were hired, you would have had to sign a form in the back of the booklet and return the form, then keep the booklet for your own reference.
...
nope, i guess it doesnt apply to me, let the games continue!
...
You are truly that ignorant in thinking that it doesn't apply to you.
Unbelievable. You just go right on thinking that and keep giving out incredibly wrong information.
...
what am i giving out that is wrong?
...
when i am quizzing people on what number to give to law enforcement in requesting E911 information, i am damaging company finances? I think you are a little too focused on bootlicking, and not enough on context and what we are actually talking about.
...
I guess my way of asking was to blunt for everybody. Well I work here in St. Louis, MO North county.
...
half of the people that responded registered that night, and i doubt they were different people with a 90% certainty. Don't feel bad.
...
I'm cool, I just wanted to know who's from where and maybe we can get something planned, we should have some fun.
...
I'm trying but people want to kill it.
...
Jayhigh what agent do you work for, and what store I work for an agent in STL as well! 😎
...
I work for and agent.
...
i work in the cust care center for mo2! wccc.cs
Shannon 🙂

Here's a quick sum up of all the problems that everybody is trying to bring up. To be honest none of the info on the olr or any companies private website is hidden form the public. All and if not more information is available on the web about a phone company, it's policies, and confidential information. Plus if information were to be kept secret then the would have it on a company intranet, not the internet.
Since we don't have our own private network to work from they don't put any information that they don't expect to leak out on the olr. All companies that do this (use the internet) know that people can hack into or get somebodies password from the store or whatever, just by looking over an associates shoulder.
So to say that we a...
