SpeedTalk

I have not had the oportunity to visit a retail store and try it. Is it working well?

Do both handsets handle SpeedTalk as well as the other? I have a kyo 414 and having gone through the battery issue for a year before somethingws done about it makes me a little wary of another kyocera phone.

What's the general feeling among the group here of the 2 phones?

Thanks

I prefer the 4750 myself, but that is because I like flip phones. In the CR area, the 444 does a little better with reception, but not enough to change which one I'd prefer.

people will drop the 4750, its small and smooth, you cant drop the kyocera unless you smoke crack. but that doesnt matter if you have insurance.

Thanks for both the replies. 🙂

Is there anyone out there who is using one as their primary wireless phone? I would appreciate the input before I decide to switch or not to SpeedTalk.

speedtalk is great if you know people that have it. It works great, just as fast PTT as nextel, but without the crappy phone signal. but take the LG. The LG is the better phone, hands down. And if anyone says different, im sorry but you dont know what your talking about.

LG does not stand for "Life's Good." That is just their little tag line or slogan. LG was originally started under the name GoldStar and LG came from Lucky GoldStar.

Ding Ding Ding

bluejay is the winnah!!

I remember the day when I worked for a company which sold Goldstar TV's.. They put off so much heat in the back of the set, you could burn your hand if it stayed on there too long lol 🙂 I used to use them to help me sell Sony's. "Put your hand right here Mr Customer., Feel the heat?...Now feel this Sony. Heat is a major killer of electronics...blah blah blah"

So I have a hard time thinking of LG's as a good product. Things change I know, but there is history to overcome. You ahve to ask yourself "Do you feel Lucky?...goldstar?

Well i dont know much about LG tv's, but i know i bought a brand new wega widescreen Sony last year and it crapped out in 6 months. And sony only wanted to cover the parts, not labor. Thanks sony. But LG makes nice looking TV's and appliances, id like to hear if anyone knows if they work any good. As far as phones go, I think LG makes some of the nicest and best quality phones in the industry. Right up there with samsung and nokia. Those would be my top 3.

Yea I'm not sure but I think the 4750 is better because in my market the Kyocera phone is still being tested and I've tried the 4750 and sold a bunch of them and haven't heard anything bad
