Crackberry schamckberry and soon too!!! This will be available in what...2 to 3 years just after the Nokia 6155? USCC has earned a reputation don't ya think! A phone works on most every other network in the country except USCC's. WE NEED MORE TESTING...WE DON'T CARE WHAT OUR CUSTOMERS WANT...WE KNOW BETTER!

I agree, if they could release it they would.
Look at what happened with the LG LX5550, US Cellular rushed that phone to the market in hopes of beating the other carriers. Testing was not complete and now as an agent I have to deal with upset customers on a daily basis. Almost every person that I have seen with that model phone has had to send the phone in for warranty repair.
Sure US Cellular may be delaying the release of the 6255, but customers can only benefit from the proper testing. Would you rather have the nokia now and be bringing it into stores...

the reason USCC can't get decent phones is because their credit is non-existent. nokia is one of the companies that has shut them off already. they'll be out of business by next summer.

Completely untrue. Every part of it. USCC is not going out of business, and Nokia has not dropped USCC. Nokia's primary business has long been GSM phones, although they have recently begun producing more CDMA models (2 of which USCC is testing, I might add). Not to mention they have an excellent credit rating. Nokia phones have always taken longer than other manufacturers to pass testing. Just because you don't have your 6255 yet doesn't mean that USCC is going out of business. 🙄

I hope they get it tested out soon. USCC may be buying the Cellular One market in my area due to divestiture requirement on Alltel/Western Wireless buy out. I currently own two 6255i and like them very much.

The phone is just being tested to make sure it's going to perform at it's full capability with USCC service. It's coming it just has to be working correctly first. Should be available by the end of this mon for sure.

The Nokia 6255 will come out as soon as it passes testing! Would you rather the phone fail you or a USCC rep? I would rather them kick back the phone to Nokia, make sure its perfect. and not be like Cingular with their motorola 551 which drops calls ALL THE TIME and say oops its a phone issue. Lets be real people. give it time. good things come to those who wait. 😉
